WAXING:
BEFORE Waxing: You may take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, or another pain reliever if your pain threshold is very low. Avoid aspirin and blood thinners. A 1/4” of growth should be present for effective waxing. This is normally 10-14 days after shaving. Do NOT Wax if: Diabetic, sunburned or using any of these medications: Accutane, Retin A, Glycolic acids. Avoid tanning 48 hours prior to waxing. Check with your doctor if you are on other medications before waxing. Some medications can thin skin and will cause tearing if waxed over. AFTER Waxing: Do not tan for 24 hours. Avoid hot showers, saunas or swimming for 24 hours. Avoid using lotions, soaps or deodorant for 24 hours. Avoid exfoliation for 24 hours. Avoid covering areas just waxed with liquid makeup.
