Frequently Asked Questions

Whether you’re a spa guru or a first time spa user, we’ve assembled a listing of the most-asked spa questions, along with some helpful answers to help you make the most of your experience at the Adventure 212 Spa. If you have a question that we haven’t answered below, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We'd love to hear from you!

1. What do I need to bring?
Guests receiving multiple treatments will be provided plush robes, sandals and lockers. Those receiving a single treatment will be allowed privacy to change in the room prior to your service. Our guests are responsible for any items left in the lockers. It is recommended to leave valuables at home.

Adventure 212 Spa is part of a wellness complex. As a perk of all of our spa treatments, guests may use the hot tub and sauna within the fitness facilities free of charge before or after their scheduled appointment. If you choose to utilize this option, please bring your bathing suit as the area is a co-ed facility.

2. Do I need to talk during my treatment?
The answer is - it's entirely up to you! Some clients like to switch off completely, others find it relaxing to talk. We’ll take your lead.

3. I am pregnant. Can I receive treatments?
We have certain services dedicated specifically to pregnant women, and most of our other services can be adapted to suit your needs. However, there are some services that we are unable to perform on a pregnant woman. Please call to inquire about a specific service.

4. What if I arrive late or cannot make my scheduled appointment?
If you must cancel or change your spa appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time in order to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations with less than 24-hours notice and no-show appointments will result in forfeiture of appointment and will be charged 50% of the treatment’s value. Please note that if you arrive late for your treatment, it will end as scheduled so as not to delay the next scheduled guest.

5. I’m under 18 years of age. Can I receive treatments?
Any clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete and sign a health history form prior to the minor receiving his or her spa service.

6. Do you offer couples treatments?
Yes, we offer couples massages and other couples treatments. Please call us for special couple’s treatments to help you celebrate your special day.

7. What if I am late for my appointment?
Late arrival will limit the time of your treatment, reducing your full benefit and enjoyment. Your treatment will end on the time to prevent any inconvenience to the next guest and the same treatment price will apply. For this reason, we ask that guests arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time so that you will have time to complete any necessary paperwork and relax before your treatment.

8. Can someone help me decide on the best treatment or therapies for me?
Prior to arrival we suggest that you contact the Spa to discuss and plan your services. Our spa professionals will guide you and recommend the optimal treatments for your personal needs.

9. What if I have special health consideration?
At the time of booking please advise us if you are pregnant, on any medication, under medical supervision or require assistance. Please note that certain conditions may preclude you from having specific products or treatments and may require written permission from your physician. We will always do our very best to accommodate all of our guests. Your health, safety and comfort are of the utmost importance.

10. Are Gift Cards available in the Spa?
Adventure 212 Spa Gift Cards are available in any denomination. If you are using a Gift Card for your service, you must present it at the time of treatment.

11. When should I make reservations?
We suggest making appointments as far in advance as possible to ensure appointment times are available. A credit card number will be required to hold any appointments.

12. Are group bookings available?
Absolutely! Our Spa Group Coordinator will create a memorable visit for your group with personalized attention to detail. We’ll do our best to help you create the perfect spa party!

13. When should I arrive?
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your appointment to check-in and relax.

Spa Etiquette
For the peace, quiet and well-being of our guests we ask that you leave pagers and cell phones turned off. To ensure privacy, cameras and other recording devices are not allowed.

Child Care Available During Services
As a benefit to our Adventure 212 Spa clients, Child Care is available during its hours of operation. Rates are $5 per hour per child. When booking your appointment, please notify the front desk of your need for Child Care in order to reserve your child’s spot during your appointment time.
