Tom Charron is a Wisconsin Licensed Massage Therapist in his seventeenth year of providing high quality massage therapy services for those who seek relief from the symptoms of acute and chronic pain.
His career began in 1993 after completion of the massage therapy program at The School of Integrating Shiatsu, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Interested in the more clinical aspects of massage therapy, Tom chose to begin his career working at a local chiropractic clinic to gain experience working with those seeking alternative therapies for pain control and joint dysfunction.
In the spring of 1995, Tom began providing manual therapy services from his own office, The Neuromuscular Treatment Center, in Rapid Cty, South Dakota.
In order to provide the best possible therapeutic results for his clients, Tom has dedicated himself to the ongoing study of osteopathic and orthopedic manual therapy techniques such as Lowen Systems work, Strain and Counterstrain, Muscle Energy Technique , Neuromuscular Techniques, and Myofascial Therapy. Tom also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and is a life long proponent of exercise, fitness, and proper nutrition as a means of providing us with “health Insurance” and a high quality of life.
Recent opportunities have brought Tom back to central Wisconsin, where he spent most of his childhood days. He is grateful to be back in the area and to have the opportunity to be working at Adventure 212, where he looks forward to providing the best in clinical massage care to the members of Adventure 212 and the great people of the Stevens Point area.
