What is Pilates Reformer?
Pilates Reformer is a flowing and dynamic class which develops awareness of breath and alignment and effectively strengthens core muscles while increasing flexibility of the spine, shoulders, hips and legs.
In Adventure 212’s Pilates Reformer Classes, participants use the unique apparatus and its’ system of springs, pulleys, ropes and wheels to focus on alignment, engagement of core and use of breath to increase full-body strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. Practicing Pilates regularly improves posture, breath and overall well-being. Best-of-all, it enhances everything a body does at work, at rest, at play and in all other fitness endeavors!
Reformer classes are individualized and appropriate for bodies at any level of fitness. Call ahead to reserve your space, class sizes are limited to 6 participants intended for individual attention. Our instructor Robyn Laughlin-Eron is comprehensively trained through BASI Pilates™ (Body Arts and Science International™) and has been teaching Pilates classes for Adventure 212 since February 2008.
