Bio:  Hello! I am Darien! Fitness has always been something I've striven for. I started really getting into fitness and strength training in 9th grade for Football, mainly because I was always so small. That passion grew throughout high school and turned into a career path for me! Football was a main driver for me. It became the reason why I wanted to live a healthy lifestyle. Through high school I was also a participant in Track and Power-lifting as well as Bicycle Moto-Cross (BMX) in the summers. I am currently a student with Mid-State Technical College working towards an associates degree in Health and Wellness Promotion. After I am done there, I look to further my education and obtain a Bachelors in the same field. I find real happiness in hearing the success and obstacles that people have overcome to obtain something they normally would have dreamed about. Hearing why people train, and how they have overcome negative situations is why I continue to love this profession.

Certifications: ACE-PT

Training Philosophy: Never settle for less than you deserve! If you put 10 in you will get 10 out!

The Reason I Became a Personal Trainer: I want to help people!  I want to learn as much as possible and then find a way to communicate that to someone else to help them better their lives. My goal is to positively impact the people around me.  I want to give them motivation, knowledge and courage to pursue a lifelong journey with fitness.

Why I'm So Passionate about Fitness: I'm so passionate about fitness because I know how crucial it can be to the average person.  Our bodies are made to move, and move well.  We are losing sight of that and I want to be a front runner in changing the way we live.

My Approach to Training People: We will set specific, obtainable goals!  We will have something to work towards instead of blindly moving.  Everyone is different and having specific goals will allow for an individualized approach to training.

The Most Important Aspect of Fitness: Being able to live normally from day to day; pain free, and strong enough to accomplish tasks independently.
