Bio: Since a very early age you could find pictures of me wearing a Packers helmet I had gotten for Christmas or holding a brand new pint sized baseball glove. Between school sports, spending time with friends, or helping family with farm work I have always been an active person. As I grew older and progressed in different sports, areas such as off season training became more prevalent and key to my improvement.
My interest in food and nutrition, training methods, and workout design began to rise which caused me to choose a health related major at the University of Stevens Point. Throughout my college career I worked as a bartender in order to pay for school and my daily needs. This is where I really discovered my love for working with people and the relationships that are built because of it. I really enjoy getting to be around people and hopefully improve their day in some way.
Now that I have attained my Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, I am looking to share my knowledge with those who are seeking advice and wanting to change their lives for the better.
Trainer Certifications: BS Pre-Physical Therapy, CPR/AED
Training Philosophy: Know that you can ALWAYS improve yourself and attain results through hard work. This leads to a happier and better you!
The Reason I Became a Personal Trainer: I've always been interested in nutrition, fitness, and working with people. All of these subjects are central components in my day to day life. If I can use my knowledge and experience in these areas to help improve or influence someone else's life then I can be very content with what I am doing.
Why I'm So Passionate about Fitness: When I think about exercise the first things to come to mind are improving myself and feeling great. Knowing that you’re pushing through fatigue in order to achieve a goal you have set for yourself creates a great sense of accomplishment and creates a standard for when things get tough in and outside of the gym. It makes you stronger as a person which has a positive impact on nearly every other aspect of your life.
My Approach to Training People: There are a million ways to be active and burn calories. Whether you’re looking to increase muscle mass, have a more toned body, or lose weight I want to find what’s the most fun and effective for you. I always want to be approachable and informative so feel free to ask questions and voice concerns!
The Most Important Aspect of Fitness: Exercise in any form is great for your health and state of mind. Who wouldn't’t want to feel better, look better, and have a clean bill of health from your family physician? You will also notice an increase in your energy levels and strength which makes every day activities easier, and you more capable to go out and do what makes you happy!
